Lime Bar Café is a live entertainment venue situated in the heart of Folkestone’s Creative Quarter and if we’re being completely honest, as we’re based in Folkestone ourselves, it’s one of our favourite places to go to unwind on an evening. Lime is just over a year old and is growing steadily but the owners wanted to pick up that pace so tasked us to help them out.
Lime sought a strategy to raise the profile of the business locally and encourage more people to venture down.
How we helped
Lime Bar Café wanted to attract new clientele and acts to perform so we created a social media campaign via Facebook and Twitter. With a semi active but rather more passive social media we sought to encourage sharing, update event pages to look and sound more descriptive of the events being held along with regular updates keeping the event pages active.
The Facebook and Twitter accounts gained new profile and cover pictures to harness the power of their branding. We then looked at Facebook’s Insights, it showed that page visitors interact more with posts that contain images so we began creating a branded set of Timeline images to share.
Lime Bar Café saw in increase in Facebook likes by 48% and a 104% increase in social media engagement which also translated to more people through the doors and more money in the till.
